Troy A. Von Otnott is a respected entrepreneur and C.E.O. of Massive Technologies, a CleanTech Consulting in Atlanta, GA. While recently residing in Atlanta, GA, Mr. Von Otnott facilitated the $200,000,000 Smart Energy Atlanta program for the City of Atlanta, which contracts with Ygrene Energy to run its Property Assessed Clean Energy Finance (PACE) Program providing capital for energy efficiency retrofits in its commercial building sector. In 2008, Troy founded South Coast Solar, the largest and most successful solar energy company in the Southeast. In 2007, Mr. Von Otnott served as the Executive Director of the New Orleans-based First Bank and Trust Community Development Corporation, which redeveloped blighted housing in urban neighborhoods. Immediately following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, he formed Nola Homebuilder, a historically accurate modular housing company that advanced the sustainable housing recovery effort in the City of New Orleans along with notable non-profit organizations including Global Green and Make It Right. Mr. Von Otnott was a former technical advisor to MWH, the City of New Orleans' Engineering Consultants and was a former Board Member of Louisiana CleanTech. Troy is active in the global environmental community and often speaks on topics including Renewable Energy, Corporate Sustainability and Clean Water. He's currently enrolled in the Robert Kennedy College of Zurich, Switzerland pursuing an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability and was recently sponsored to join the Clinton Global Initiative in New York. Prior to 2005, he enjoyed a 15-year career as a real estate development consultant working on mixed-use real estate projects.
